You invited your friends to a celebration, not a photoshoot. My job is to catch the day as it unfolds - the nerves, the speeches, the dancing - while stepping in for the portraits and group shots worth stopping for.
I shoot on a completely silent camera, so I can work close without breaking the moment. You get a full gallery of your day, delivered fast, with the kind of images you'll actually want on the wall.

There for the moments, not in the way of them
I'll step in when you need direction - helping you look your best in the portraits, or herding everyone for the group shots - but I won't bulldoze through the real moments just to stage a photo.
The result is a gallery that feels like your actual day: the belly laughs, the quiet glances, the dancefloor. Photographs you'll recognise, because they happened.
I've shot hundreds of weddings and know how they flow.
Timings slip, the light changes, the confetti happens once and never comes back. After fifteen years I know how a wedding day tends to go - when to be ready, when to hang back - so the moments that matter don't slip past while everyone's looking the other way.

Wedding photography FAQs
How much is a wedding photographer in Cambridgeshire?
My wedding packages start at £1,000 for five hours, £1,500 for a full eight-hour day, and £1,800 for ten hours. Every package includes a pre-wedding chat and a private gallery of edited, high-resolution images. Tell me your date and I'll confirm availability.
How would you describe your style?
Relaxed and documentary, with a guiding hand when it counts. I catch the day as it unfolds, but I'll step in to direct the portraits and group shots so you look your best without the day turning into a photoshoot.
How many photos do we get?
It depends on the length of the day, but you'll receive a full gallery of edited high-resolution images - typically several hundred for a full day - all downloadable and ready to share and print.
How long until we see them?
You'll get a small preview set within a few days, with the full edited gallery usually ready within four to six weeks.
Do you travel outside Cambridgeshire?
Yes. I'm based in Cambridgeshire and cover the surrounding counties as standard, and I'm happy to travel further afield - just let me know your venue.
Do we get a say in the group shots?
Absolutely. We'll agree a shortlist of group shots before the day so they're done efficiently, and you can get back to your guests.
Do you do a pre-wedding call?
Yes - we'll have a chat before the day to run through your timeline, the shots that matter to you and any details I should know about.
What happens if you're ill on the day?
In fifteen years I've never missed a wedding, but I'm part of a network of professional photographers, so in a genuine emergency I can call on a trusted colleague to cover, and I'd still edit your gallery personally.
Do you have backup gear?
Always. I shoot on dual professional bodies with backup cameras, lenses and memory cards, and every image is backed up in multiple places.
Do you offer albums?
Yes - beautiful, handmade albums are available as an optional extra. We can talk through the options once your gallery's ready.
How do we book?
Get in touch with your date and venue. If I'm free, a signed contract and deposit secures the day.
Tell me about your day
Send me your date and venue and let's see if I'm free. I take a limited number of weddings each year.
